Co-op members discuss the future of food and farming

Members of The Co-operative Group are invited to discuss local and national issues around food and farming on 14 July at Ouseburn Farm.

This is one of a series of events across the North East to bring together food-based community groups, food activists and people who want to make the food system healthier, fairer, and more sustainable. We want you to identify how you would change the food system and work with researchers to develop solutions.

This event is being organised in partnership with the The Co-operative Membership North and is only open to members of The Co-operative.

Time: 11.00am – 3.00pm
Date: Saturday, 14 July 2012
Venue: Ouseburn Farm, Newcastle upon Tyne

A complimentary lunch will be provided by Neil Le Flohic of the Settle Down Cafe.

The event is free, but there are limited places, so if you would like to attend please contact Kevin McGrother on or 0191 411 2346 to reserve a place, stating any dietary preferences and/or access needs.

  1. Please note the start time is 12 noon and you MUST register with Kevin at the Co-op before Thursday to book your place, if there is still space.
